Advocacy for Wisconsin’s creative sector…more important than ever

We are deep into election season and getting close to the state FY2025-2027 budget season. Presidential, Congressional, Legislative, and local elections, and, important policy issues are on the ballots in 2024. Be an informed and active advocate for the arts, culture and creativity, with these resources from Create Wisconsin.

Create Wisconsin’s Legislative Action Center and 2024-2025 Legislative Priorities:

  • Increasing funding for the Wisconsin Arts Board, to make the arts and creativity accessible to everyone, everywhere in the state.

  • Rural Creative Economy Development Program, to encourage investment in Wisconsin’s rural creative sector.

  • Creating film & television production incentives and a state film office. More at Action Wisconsin.

Ask Governor Evers, Lt. Gov. Rodriguez, and state legislators to make investment in the creative sector a priority in the state's 2025-2027 budget. Use this template to send your message.
